Just added this to a Springfield EMP 9mm. Minor trimming required, but easily trimmed with scissors. Just the right addition to the size of the small EMP grip and improves confidence in my grip. Provides the finger grooves without having to change the look of the factory rosewood grips. Plan to put one on an officer''s 45 now. Should be an even bigger improvement in control there.

A very good shooting aid for a Model 1911. Improves grip and extends accuracy. The only issue I had when I installed the grip pad is that I had to slighly trim the pad which went under one of the grip panels.

I had ordered the GOVERNMENT model finger groove insert]#7157[ but I received an OFFICER model]#7176[which did not fit my gun. However, after I re-ordered and paid again for the correct insert I am very happy with the form, fit and function on my Colt 1911 GOVERNMENT 45 caliber grip. I installed the rubber grip insert without any problems. The black rubber on the stainless steel frame looks really sharp and it significantly improves my ability to hold the 1911 with my 76 year old hands.
