Bersa 380 PLUS beats a PPK

Wanted a small and easy draw with plenty of firepower. 15 rounds of 380 will do the job.
Bought it, fired it, holstered it, love it. Bought a box of ammo and shot them all w/o a single problem.
If you want a PPK, buy this instead.

What a great handgun! Excellent grip for hands larger than when the PPK was designed. 15 rounds of balanced 380? Come on, what more do you need out to 50''? Concealed elegance. Love this thing. Feels great and fires level and steady.
Smooth action, no jambs using 200+ of several different loads.
Buy it and enjoy.

Have shot berettas since military started using them, when looking for a carry weapon, was told about the Bersa. I am completely satisfied with the Thunder in place of the Cheetah. The weapon works so smooth my friend tried to trade me a Walther PPK for it. But that is not a fair trade, the Bersa is a Superior product. and the only ammo problem I have had is, not enough because it will handle whatever you put through it. And remember 3 center mass, 1 head

The Bersa Thunder 380 Plus is the best shooting and handling smaller auto Ive had the pleasure to own and use! Works properly every time, won''t sell, would buy other Bersa''s if as good in other calibers. Can''t brag enough about my Thunder 380 plus!

The Thunder 380 is definitely a pistol worth purchasing..... I have owned one for several years now and have fired 100s of rounds of various ammo through it without one single hiccup...whether it was golden saber''s, hydrashocks, gold dots or inexpensive bulk ammo this thing just keeps on ticking.

What a bang for the buck! Shot 25 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense through it yesterday without a hitch. No jams or misfires and accurate at 15 yards placing a 3-4 inch pattern for 15 rounds. Amazing weapon especially for the price. The only down side is finding the .380 and expecially the Hornady FTX rounds.
I will be ordering the CC from your company for my wife next payday or should I say after the IRS gets its dues!!
I would rate you customer service "top-notch" for the information and help they rendered to me in ordering my Bersa Thunder. The customer service "reps" make the whole process a "no-brainer". They assisted me in finding a local dealer who would handle the registration and "paper-work" necessary to secure a weapon in the great State of Ohio!
Finally, you price on these pistols is far under any other source or store I examined prior to purchasing. I saved on an average $50.00 over your competitors.

Bought one for my wife last Christmas. Shot 3 mags. through it right out of the box. Had a couple of stove pipes. ]very oily[ Took it home & cleaned it. Shot 5 more mags with no problems! Great little pistol! Feels good in my & her hand, handles recoil well, has a better trigger pull than my Thunder 9mm pro HC & conceals well. Really like the key lock. Not as good a finish as you will find on the more expensive brands of pistols. When cleaning, be sure to put the spring back on properly ]smaller end first[. Sorry, but 380 ammo is really hard to find. According to Eagle Imports you CAN shoot PLUS ammo through any Bursa pistol ]You''re on your own with reloads however[. If you want a really good, inexpensive HC conceal carry pistol buy one of these. You won''t be sorry!

THIS IS A CLOSE - UP GUN. THAT IS IT'S TO BE USED UNDER 15 FEET OR LESS. IT'S A GREAT CONCEALABLE GUN, THAT PACKS A SERIOUS AMOUNT OF FIREPOWER. MANY lAW eNFORCEMENT OFFICERS USE THEM AS A BACKUP GUN! iT'S ALSO USED AS A READILY USABLE CONCEALED GUN THAT WILL GET THE JOB DONE. IT WILL STOP A WOULD BE ATTACKER RIGHT WHERE HE STANDS! NO SECOUND THOUGHTS.
CARRY IT INSIDE YOUR PANTS, A SHOULDER HOULSTER, OR, AROUND THE ANKLE, FOR CONCEALMENT; WHATEVER YOU WISH.
AS LONG AS YOU USE THE RIGHT AMMUNITION IN IT, YOUR GUN WIKK DO THE JOB!

Bersa Thunder .380

First off, the Bersa .380 Thunder is accurate. I used mine to qualify for my concealed handgun license and we had to shoot out to sixty feet. This pistol is capable of 2 to 3 inch groupings at thirty feet and 6 inch pie plates at fifty feet without a problem all day long with a weekend shooter of which I am. And not every weekend either.
Reliability is first class. I fired more than 1500 rounds of mixed brand ammunition without a failure. I can honestly say the Bersa .380 is NOT choosy about what ammo you feed it whether it's hollow points or hardball ammunition.
As far as cost goes. In my opinion you get far more for your money with this handgun. Bersa builds a fine weapon at a price costing much less than what you would pay for other brands.
I believe as a personal protection firearm for a man or a woman. Loaded with the right hollow point ammunition you would be well prepared to protect yourself.

I've had one of these little gems for about a year now and have put about 1000 rounds through it. Pardon the pun, but the bang for your buck is enormous. I was in my favorite gun shop looking for a nice automatic and a State Trooper there told me THIS was the gun he carries for a backup. He advised he's put over 10 thousand rounds through his with no trouble what so ever.
I believe it. I absolutely love this weapon. I've taken several classes with it and EVERY instructor I know swears by this baby. And, so do I. It'll put 15 rounds out there in a couple of heartbeats...and, I surmise it'll probably stop the bad guy cold IF I ever need to do that.
At 30 feet, it'll take the center out of the target. At 60 feet, you can get 15 into a nice 6" group.

I just bought a Bersa Thunder 380 plus, I love everything about it except it is right handed. I have a question rather than a review. Does anyone know if you can convert this gun to be left handed. I hear the clip release can, but I don't know about the safety?

Bersa .380 Thunder Plus

The .380 is the first handgun I have purchased. I liked the size of the gun and was driven to it by price. I bought the .380 Plus, which holds 15 rounds, it felt better in my hand.
Purchased it for the Concealed handgun class. VERY pleased with it's performance. I have not fired a handgun in 21 years, 27 out of 30 shots landed in the bullseye, 2 landed 1/2" outside the bullseye, and 1 on the line. Only 1 person had a better cluster out of a class of 33 people. The gunshop asked me to look at participating in it's shooting league. Could be beginners luck, however I will take it.
Was well pleased with the gun and the accuracy for such a small gun. I will definately be shooting alot more rounds from here on out.

Bersa 380 plus with 15 rd is the perfect combo for a lightweight muscle gun. My daughter and I each bought one and cannot say who is more pleased. I have put at least 600 rds thru it and not a jam one. Produced nice 4 in cluster at 20 yds. Safety could be redesigned a little but not worth mentioning.

I got a Bersa Thunder Plus several months ago and have not regretted it for one minute. As others have said, it is extremely accurate. I go shooting with my sons often and they all can shoot accurately with it too. I have put about 2000 rounds through it without any failures or hesitations. I carry this most of the time as my main CCW and feel fine about that because I know I can put all 15 rounds in a 2 inch grouping easily all the time from any shooting position at distances up to 40 feet.
