I had some options added to my CQB (adj. night sights, full length guide rod, ambi. safety, mag funnel), but the heart of it is this gun. W/C will give you a list of the different ammo's (and there aren't many) that they believe will run dependably in one of their guns. W/C guns are built so "tight" that they are real picky about ammo, that's what W/C says. I have found that my W/C will run fine on anything except SWC's (any brand, any length, factory or reload).
Now for the full story, this gun is NO better than a Springfield TRP at half the price. I have both and know. I added $200 in options just to get my CQB the same features as the TRP, again at half the price. Both guns will shoot a 1 1/2 inch group at 15 yards, both guns have a tight slide to frame fit, both guns have a great trigger pull. You buy the TRP because you want/need a very good 1911, you (I) buy a Wilson Combat because you think a custom gun will be better and you can afford it. The CQB, like all the W/C models is a good gun, but for what it is it's not worth the price. W/C is all about status, a gun owners bling.
