I use this holster everday. With the smaller paddle than the blackhawk holster it is more cumfortable. I could not find anyone that made this style or type of holster to fit my Kimber Ultra Carry ,so I modified this holster by cutting down the holster to remove the excess length. With this style holster gives you the advantage of disengaging the thumb safety prior to drawing the weapon because the holster is a "Saftey" unto itself. You must remember that this should not be done unless you have proper training and that ultimatly your trigger finger is the most important SAFETY of all. Then if you compare the price between the "Blackhawk" and "Itac" the Itac wins!!
